Stephan Krähenbühl was born on November 29, 1953, near Berne in Switzerland. He graduated from the School of Pharmacy of the University of Berne in 1978 and got his Ph.D. in Pharmacy in 1981 in Berne. In 1985, he graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Berne, where he got his M.D. the same year. From 1985 to 1999 he obtained a formation in internal medicine, hepatology, clinical pharmacology and clinical chemistry at the University Hospitals of Berne and Zurich in Switzerland and at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, USA. Since the year 2000, he is chief physician and head of the Division of Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology at the University Hospital of Basel. At he same time, he is one of the chief physicians in internal medicine at the University Hospital of Basel. He gives lectures in clinical pharmacology, toxicology and clinical nutrition for students in medicine and pharmacy at the University of Basel and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. His scientific interests are drug metabolism and toxicity, energy metabolism (in particular mitochondrial function), drug-drug interactions and drug administration in patients with impaired organ function. He has published more than two hundred scientific articles in these areas. He is currently heading the medical experts committee of the Swiss Drug Administration (Swissmedic).

He is an International Editorial Board Member for many reputed journals like Anatomical Society of India (ASI). Recently he has been unanimously elected as an Executive Board Member for ASI and an Organizing Committee Member for the upcoming 8th World Congress on Toxicology at Dubai, UAE “9th Euro-Global Summit to be held at Paris and 11th International Congress on Toxicology and Risk Management to be held at October 10-12, 2017 in London, UK.

Dr Yahaya Hassan is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy ,Pharmacy Practice Department at Faculty of Pharmacy,Universiti Teknologi MARA(UiTM),Malaysia.His current research interest focus on clinical pharmacy ,pharmacoepidemiology and pharmaceutical outcome study. He also serve as a consultant for Malaysian Qualifying Agentcy(MQA) Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia and MQA panel member for Board of Pharmacy of Malaysia . He also serve as a committee member of Clinical Pharmacy Specialist development program for Pharmacy Division,Ministry of Health of Malaysia. Prof Yahaya obtained his B.Pharm from Universiti Sains Malaysia and Pharm.D. from University of Minnesota, USA. He has been lecturing at the faculty of Pharmacy for 32 years covering courses in clinical pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, advanced pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacy practice. He has successfully supervised over 20 research postgraduate students at the master’s and Ph.D levels, more than 200 master’s by coursework and published over 110 research papers in international journals and another 40 in regional and local journals.

Prof. Sinerik Ayrapetyan has completed his Ph.D in Cell Biophysics in the Institute of Physiology of Ukraine Academy of Sciences, Kiev. He is the head and coordinator of Research Council of Life Sciences International Postgraduate Educational Center, UNESCO Chair, Yerevan, Armenia. His current research interest is “Intracellular Signaling System in Norm and Pathology”. On this subject he has published 7 international books and 115 papers. He is a member of the board of associate editors for the journals: "Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine", "Journal of International Dental and Medical Research", “ISRN Biophysics”, and a member of editorial board of the journals: “Advances in Life Sciences", “Bioavailability and Bioequivalence”, “Applied Pharmacy”, “European Journal of Biophysics”, “Biochimica et Biophysica Acta”. She has received Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)- 1981 and post graduation from in Radiopharmacy), USC, Los Angeles, CA, USA. She has completed Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), University of Minnesota, U.S.A in 1985 and is a Registered Pharmacist (No.1121), Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. She became a Member of American College of Clinical Pharmacy in 1995. Her research Area of interest Clinical Pharmacy Research focus on cardiovascular, renal ,critical care and geriatric pharmacy and Pharmacotherapy in critically ill, rational drug use, drug adverse effect and drug-drug Interactions. She has also teaching experience in Bioavailability and Bioequivalence Studies-Halal Medication Reference and research. She has about 58 and more International and national publications.

Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdulmohsen H. Alrohaimi graduated from Tufts University Boston USA in the area of Pharmacogenetics. He joined the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) as an executive director and he pressed successfully for the creation of the infrastructure for clinical trial in the kingdom.He contributed to SFDA all his skill and expertise and initiated many educational awareness programs for the community development. He chairs many scientific and research committees. He has to his credit two books and several research papers in various highly indexed journals. He is an international speaker and his area of interest is Nanomedicine, Pharmacogenetics Biotechnology and Stem cell techniques. His priorities have been to mobilize world thought leaders around a set of new global challenges, from climate change and economic upheaval to pandemics and increasing pressures involving food, energy and water, with a special emphasis on Africa and the Middle East and the new Global Strategy on Women’s and Children’s Health. Today, he is holding position of Dean in the School of Pharmacy Shaqra University,Saudhi Arabia.

Born and raised in Burundi, Jean Marie Vianney moved to Russia in 2000 for his graduate and post-graduate studies. In 2006, he obtained a Master of Science in Pharmacy at the Volgograd State Medical University, in Volgograd, Russia. He then moved to The Netherlands where he obtained a Bachelor degree in Business Administration at the NHL University in Leeuwarden before continuing his life sciences research education at the Utrecht University, in a Drug Innovation Masters programme focussing on Drug Discovery, Drug Development and Regulatory Affairs. During the Drug Innovation training, he carried out research projects at the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation in The Netherlands, the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board and EDCTP. Since December 2010, he has been working for EDCTP as a Project Officer, managing several EDCTP-funded grants and calls for proposals. As part of his continuing professional development and academic interest, in July 2014 Jean Marie Vianney successfully defended a Master’s Thesis within the European Programme in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology (Eu2P).

Dr. Akbar Husain is Professor and Coordinator, UGC–SAP (DRS Phase-I) at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Psychology from the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (INDIA) in 1981. Professor Husain was awarded the D.Litt. degree in Psychology in 2015 for his work on Explorations and Applications of Spirituality in Psychology. He has over thirty five years of teaching and research experience. He has successfully supervised 10 M.Phil. dissertations and 25 Ph.D. theses at the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has authored, co-authored and edited 31 books, and contributed 220 research papers, theoretical articles and book chapters in National and International Journals and Books. Prof. Husain has attended and presented papers, gave Invited Talk/Lecture and Keynote Addresses in the several National and International Conferences and Seminars. He was Editor of the Journal of the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology (2002-2005) and Journal of Educational Research, University of Malaya (2009). Prof. Husain is also reviewer of various National and International Journals of Psychology. He has standardized numerous psychological tests and completed four research projects. He is a Life Member and Annual Member of various National and International Associations. Prof. Husain was offered Founding Member of the International Board of the International Transpersonal Association, USA in 2009 and Membership of the Nyenrode Spirituality in Business Community, Netherlands in 2008. He has visited several countries for attending conferences and teaching assignments. He is on the editorial Board of several prestigious Journals, both National and International. In recent years he has been involved in conducting the researches on various topics such as spiritual values/virtues, spiritual fitness, spiritual personality, spiritual support, spiritual distress, spiritual coping, strength etc. related to the area of Spiritual Psychology. In addition to this his current areas of research are: Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and Positive Psychology.
