Biography
Medical Doctor, Anesthesiologist holds a Master degree in Healthcare and Hospital Management in addition to a Teaching Diploma. She has assumed multiple managerial positions for the past 12 years in various institutions. Actually, as Chief Quality Officer at Clemenceau Medical Center, Beirut, she leads performance improvement and patient safety activities. Throughout her career, Dr. Hammoud gained a lot of knowledge and skills in various multidisciplinary fields which made her a reference in clinical care quality both in Lebanon and regionally. Her major focus areas are Quality Systems in general and in the medical fields in specific, Joint Commission International Accreditation and Safety and Risk Management Programs. She is a lecturer on patient safety and risk management and health management in multiple universities; she is also a speaker and trainer of multiple seminars and workshops. Her enthusiasm about quality and safety of the community drove her to lay the foundations to establish the Lebanese Society of Quality and Safety in Healthcare, an NGO with a clear mission which is to empower patients for a safer clinical process.
