Biography

Dr. Zadeh is an Infectious Disease Epidemiologist and he is currently President of Lapuck Laboratories, Inc. and the CEO of RJH Associate, a Public Health Consulting Group based in Canton Massachusetts. After graduating from Shiraz University School of Veterinary Medicine which included practical training at London University, Colorado State University and the University of Stockholm in Uppsala Sweden, he undertook an intensive academic training in preventive medicine and public health with special emphasis on epidemiology of infectious diseases. While enrolled in MPH program at The University of Minnesota School of Public Health, he also completed an intensive Epidemiology Certification Program offered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Upon completion of his academic programs, Dr. Zadeh accepted a position with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) as an Infectious Disease Epidemiologist where he served for eleven years. During his tenure with the Department, Dr. Sharifzadeh worked closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the federal Food & Drug Administration (FDA) on numerous State and National disease epidemics and outbreaks. He developed and directed a number of Educational and regulatory programs within the Department of Public Health which included the New England Zoonoses Conference, the Working Group on Foodborne Infectious Diseases, and the Massachusetts Regulations for Humane Treatment of Research Animals. All of these programs have since become the national models and have been copied by various State Departments of Public Health across the Country. During his tenure with MDPH, Dr. Zadeh also served as an adjunct faculty with Tufts University and lectured at Boston University School of Public Health, Harvard University School of Public Health, and Boston College. Since 1994, Dr. Zadeh has been leading two private Organizations that primarily provide testing and public health consulting services to private clients as well as government agencies. As an Infectious Disease Epidemiologist, he has used the Organizations as a platform to promote public health and preventive medicine among vulnerable groups and populations. Through the World Health Organization (WHO), he has hosted a number of visiting public health missions from less developed countries focusing primarily on how to improve the health and well being of their perspective citizens. Dr. Zadeh served as the MA Chapter President of Iranian American Medical Association (IAMA) from 2010 to 2013 and served as the National President of IAMA from 2013 to 2017.
