Biography

Dr. Tranesh graduated top 1% with honors from the faculty of Medicine University of Zawia in Libya, where he was selected to be a teaching assistant in the department of pathology. He started his pathology training as an anatomic pathology resident at the National Cancer Institute of Libya. He received a scholarship to continue his graduate degree in the United States. He joined a very competitive graduate program at the Ohio State University in molecular pathology. After graduation, he started his residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at St. John/Wayne State University, where he served as a chief resident in his final year. After residency, he joined a prestigious fellowship at Mayo Clinic in surgical pathology, followed by a second fellowship in cytopathology at The University of California San Diego. He is dually boarded by the American Board in clinical and anatomic pathology.

Research Interest

Dr. Tranesh has authored more than 26 publications including original articles, abstracts and book chapters. He published two books “Breast Cancer And The Growth Factors” and “Advances In Cancer Biology”. His research interests are on head and neck pathology, cytopathology, breast pathology and dermatopathology.
